FIRE & SMOKE DOORS

Properly installed and maintained Fire and Smoke Doors are a critical component of a facility’s Passive Fire Protection. Fire Door Assemblies shall be inspected and tested annually and a written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for inspection by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

Freeman Air utilizes specially designed software to track work and to generate required reports. Our 30 point inspection technique provides extensive detail and enables your facility to fix any problems and stay compliant with all codes and regulations.

Doors must be checked for holes, damage, missing components, proper closure and clearance, etc. Only completing partial inspections is a common problem in the industry and does not ensure the doors will perform as required.
